What this site collects

At present, nothing. 124fogmire.com does not use tracking cookies, does not run analytics that identify individual visitors, and does not collect personal data of any kind through normal use of the site.

If you visit the site, read a page, and leave, no record of your visit is stored here.

Email list

This site may offer an email newsletter or mailing list in the future. If and when that happens, this policy will be updated before the list opens.

If you choose to join a mailing list, your email address will be collected and stored for the sole purpose of sending you updates about the Brass & Bone Investigations series — new books, the Audio Casebook, and related news. Your email address will not be shared with third parties, sold, or used for any purpose other than the one you signed up for. You will be able to unsubscribe at any time, simply and without difficulty.

Until a mailing list exists, no email addresses are collected by this site.

If a contact form is present on this site, any information you submit through it — your name and email address — is used only to respond to your message. It is not stored beyond that purpose and is not used for marketing without your explicit consent.

This site contains links to Amazon for book purchases and to podcast platforms for the Audio Casebook. When you follow those links you leave 124fogmire.com and enter platforms with their own privacy policies. This site has no control over and no responsibility for what those platforms collect. IONOS hosting

This site is hosted by IONOS. As the hosting provider, IONOS may collect standard server log data — IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, time of visit — as part of normal hosting operations.
