Gearball

Gearball is Gearhaven’s own sport, born of guild rivalry rather than civic ceremony, and it looks the way the city looks: three tiers, one rising above the other, with the easiest thing to do at the bottom and the thing worth cheering for at the top. A match is two hours long. Explaining it to someone who has never seen a lift platform vent steam under a man’s boots takes rather longer, which is the purpose of these pages.
