Where The Maps End
WHERE THE MAPS END : A Novel of the World Beyond the Walls
The maps of Providence show four cities. Beyond the walls that surround them, a single warning: DANGER: DO NOT GO.
Sixteen-year-old Addison Armstrong has spent his life inside those walls, in the library of Herriman Estate, building an airship in secret and following the trail of clues his mother left before she died. A surveyor’s record hidden in the municipal library. A compass engraved with four words. An address in the Mechanist Quarter and a man who knew things the city’s leadership did not want known.
What Addison discovers is that the maps are lying. The world beyond the walls is not empty. It is full — of people who have lived outside for generations, of ruins that dwarf anything the walled cities ever built, of communities who remember truths that Providence chose to forget. And somewhere on the far western coast, sealed behind a door he cannot yet open, is a record of everything the old world was — preserved by people who understood that the truth was worth keeping even if those in power preferred it lost.

To reach it, Addison will cross a continent he has never seen, navigate dangers no map prepared him for, and find himself changed by every person he meets along the way. He will also meet Calla — a chief’s daughter who knows the outside world the way he knows books, and who will teach him everything his library never could.
Where the Maps End is a steampunk adventure about the courage to find the truth, the people who help you carry it, and what happens when you finally see the whole world — not just the part someone decided you were allowed to know.
